It took its time to get here and I feared for a while it would not, groundless of course because it arrived quite smartly as if to say, should we begin and begin we will when the toil of this day has been washed from me,

time for a tea?
time's being fun,
I said,
pour me a ***
and time did,

but its hands are always
on the move
wearing another groove
into the grooves of so many
starts.
