My life unthinkable without black people
I have major America alienation
But my two favorite things about the USA
Are music and basketball
Which, as it happens,
Many people with ancestors
On the African continent
Have some serious talents for.

I lived on the South Side of Chicago for 1 year
And the Central District  of Seattle for 2
When I went to jail
Black man helped me through

Never been to Cameroon
Never been to Ghana
Rainy Night in Georgia
Makes Me Kinda Wanna
