John Wayne couldn’t be found
The Indian’s all left town
John Wayne wasn’t on the seen
The Indian’s refused to be mean
Marshall Dillon moved from Dodge City
The west was thinking oh what a pity
The Stage Coaches loss their map for direction
Show me the way to Hollywood
Not by way of chopping wood
Even the Mountains didn’t applaud
Oh Lord
The west always thought they won
Somewhere they were outdone
The west having a name
That will remain
Some think the west was lame
Who are you going to blame?
Fuss Fuss Fuss
Back on the road on a bus
On a mission being a must
The west you thought
No battle fought
East went West
I feel I am testing a test
Free spirit at least
The Indian’s put their arrows in storage
At least they had courage
The West in their ways
History made back in the day
