Yes mum I have changed,
I am married,
I used to sleep on your lap,
Now I sleep in her arms.
You used to nag me for not doing this or that,
Now she has taken over the job.
Like you she is the Minister of Home Affairs of our house,
Kind and devoted to us
Though she always wins any arguments,
For peace I shut up even if I am right.
Dad used to help you with housework,
Though he came home tired ,
My situation is same.
Before I had my ownΒ Β room
and I slept alone,
Nobody dared enter without my permission,
Now she is the queen of our room.
Before I was my father's child,
Now I am the father of my child,
So mum understand, conditions have changed,
But underneath I am still your son who loves you a lot,
Smile and give us your blessings.
