Silves is in Portugal
Sun Cycle Silves
Meandering mountains passes
between heathered hills.
Pylons, gigantic catapults
transporting lifes transfusions
to the sunset ills.
Beware what morning brings
when Icarus in skylark flight
***** no more his waxing wings.

In the foreground of this house
an orange-grove is a decoration
Of trees. On hill brows, taller
eucalyptus ridge back the contours
resembling a wooded wall of China
snaking its way far as the eye can see
punctuated here and there with lakes
In mindful reflection of the sky.
Distance is not permitted to confine
such visions, imaginations have no
boundaries. Somewhere beyond our
horizon similar depictions were about
to be conceived. Spermatozoa jet streams
being a testimony to that.

From the balcony of the house
After a walk with the dogs on
hills which resemble the
Scottish Highlands. We are
house minding here now.
