Do you see that star in the belt of Orion
that was my home so many years ago
it still calls to me in time and space
they want me to return home again

See it twinkle then feel my heart beating fast
each pulse reaches out to me, calling me
soon do I fold space and time homeward bound
my wings will soon be fully repaired

I turn my face from your delicate frame
for you must not see the fire in my eyes
I lift my hands to the heavens
in vows I made many years ago

Will I miss this world of yours
no dear friends I will not
but I do promise you friends
that you will forget me not

Parting is not sweet sorrow
as I am from times mirrors
so watch her last supper
not a snack but a dinner
