And now I will boast
For my pride is engorged
On abandonment’s ghost
Of the friendships I’ve forged
Through the depths
Ever delving
In deeper
To molten
The curtain of iron
Fist rules
Of the sultan
Could bring the judgmental
Before us
Defined
Could appeal sentimental
Committing the crime
And never so much
As offend
When the pen
That I wield
Ever mightier,
Summons the end
