I have known you all my life,
Your shoulders have borne me,
Your care has shielded me.

Age does catch up, now am 'mature'
Got my ID and built in body and mind.
Done. With school even live on my own.
Just about to practice my independence,
Just making my own decisions and all.

Tables now turn, you are now a helpless child and am the mother.
I decide now for you, I feel inadequate.
I make life long decisions,
Am unable to enjoy, or glory in my earnings.
My young mind feels unable to think.
As i deal with all thee challenges,

Overwhelmed I am from all the grinding.
