There is a screaming that is inside me
that wakes me in the mornings
Awake, but frozen
in this island of moth eaten silk and gold.
I do not know who she is
and what she wants from me
but she lies over me
pinning my arms and feet
with silver pins and golden needles
it does not hurt, it does not bleed
But it does leave small
pinprick scars
that glint in the moonlight
my body awash with stardust
shake it off of me with every ******
I want everything to penetrate me-
birds, words, stars and men.
Yes, young prince, gaze upon me
release your ancient loneliness in me
I won't remember a thing
but having the sweetest dream

A spell to break
As heartbeats met-
please, please, whatever you do
Do not kiss me just yet.
