Missiles whistling through the air
there's a revolution kicking off somewhere
and where are we?
sitting comfortably
watching the TV and eating our dinner
as countries are swallowed
people are smothered

'Watch with Mother'
that's always best
and then there's the test card
to
give your eyes a rest
but
the missiles keep flying
no use in trying to sleep
so
you get up to keep
the night company.
