He Walks With Me
He walks with me
and he will not let me go
again he clips my wings
just to stay here again
I really thought he would let me fly
but what he told me was do it
you wanted to make poetry a religion
go son of man make it so
He will walk with me
he will hold my hand
and in the pitch of night
he will guide with his light
I have overstepped the mark
gone out of the ball park
and he walks with me
my Lord walks with me
