Turning on
What if
Jesus doesn't want me for a sunbeam
what if
he only wants me to be a decoration
on a heavenly Christmas tree,
what if
he is a she?
to many what if's
what gives?
always asking questions
never leads to peace of mind
it's just one more illusion,
one more daily grind.
Tuesday and the lights are on
it's costing more and more
I have candles but no matches
and that is just sods law.
