You keep me at arm's length
Knowing if you stumble
Knowing if you crumble
I'm not there to give you strength

You won't give me your all
Living with the fear
that if you let me near
I'd let you down, and let you fall

But I can't give up and can't give in
So I hope and pray
For a coming day
When you'll be ready to let me in
It's funny for you can write a poem for someone else and for you at the same time. How sometimes you're the waiter and sometimes you're the broken one
