Take me to the sea,
Oh take me to the sea,
Bring me back to the place where someone loved me.

Under the sand dunes where a path once lay,
Stands an old willow tree,
Abandoned and astray.

Under the willow lies
A thicket of leaves so deep,
That when the wind cries,
Is when ghosts begin to speak.

When the ghosts speak is when I see you,
No longer weak and crippled, but strong and new.
I wish you never left me so broken and alone,
I wish I said goodbye to the greatest love I’ve known.

The ashes of you is all that you left,
to spread along the dunes of where we first met.
I love you today, I’ll love you forever too,
I will wait for the day the sea to takes me to you.

Bury me in the sea,
Oh bury me in the sea,
Bury me in the place where someone loved me.
