I try to forget I loved you
yet at nightfall I remember
the pain will never end
for the loss of you

Till my dying day
my heart will ache
for there is always something around
that reminds me of you

I don't take the pills
that my doctor gave me
they make me shake too much
and they don't make me forget you

My solitude has become my kingdom
all I have is my poetry
this is all
that is left of me
