Comfort Zone


   Not to be confused with

      a safe house, because

     that would be a bank.


    There, fluctuations are

      frequent and broken

         into occasionally.


    What is a comfort zone

     safe haven be it not a

    familiarity of place, or

   possessions and people.


    Surely they are but the

trappings which anchor us

and censure us statistically

  for containment purposes.


A comfort zone is a situation

or place where people feel so

  at ease that their ability or

determination is never tested.


Gated communities, opiated

states, sublimated sanctuaries,

protectorates, religious orders,

political parties, even prisons.


I’m a real nowhere man with

nothing left to loose my end

is my beginning and the last

place I want to be is here now.
