On the news today
its said
a man has thankfully been arrested
and held in custody
for abducting and sexually assaulting
a six year old girl
Now not even the dumbest of animals will do that

In my neck of the woods
a good man
is mobbed harassed stalked and terrorised
what was his crime
he stood up to thieves who burgled him and
refused extortion demands
and we all say we are civilised human in a civilised world

You see dear whoever
this is civilisation
in some parts of the world that *** miscreant
would now be swung high
and thieves would be missing thieving hands
we say that is barbaric
because we are the civilised ones and we know best
