We had beaches
And cities
And mountains
Ashore
We had more
Then we ever grew up with
In store
And we even had time
Time to talk to each other
And rare as a find
As it is
To discover
A newfound renewal
Of cordless connection
Without the conflicted
Discourse
Disaffection
Divorced from reality
Back to the dream
Temporarily
Merrily
Tasting cuisine
Could all seem
To be needed
Yet that’s what we lacked
But still shells in the sand
Keep the family intact
