I’m going to throw caution to the

      windscreen, engage the washers,

irrigate the glass and let the wipers

deal with the rest. Then i'm going to

remove the rear view mirror and use

it to reflect sunlight to illuminate

the future pass. Next, I am going to

replace St Christopher with a statue

made of salt, a metaphorical reminder

not to heed the words of Lee Marvin

in Wandering Star, despite it being

    a commentary on moving forward,

and then, when I get, to where I was

meant to be going, I want to forget,

                               to

                        remember

                    where that was.
