The pages are bare
They look quite old my dear
Slightly withered
A variety of colour
Some resemble the gizzard,
but knowledge is there,
even though the pages,
of the old book,
seem crisp and bare
Shelves filled with books
Boxes in the charity shops,
these hold a lot
It does not need to be a library slot
