Cliche
So Cliche we say
We say we’re meant to be
Together forever
So cliche
We’re an on again off again couple
Torn apart by the distance
Brought back together by our love
We make promises on top of promises
I wonder how many we’re going to break
One step forward always feels like ten steps back
Forcing a smile when you ask if I’m alright
Never confessing my fears
Baby names and wedding plans
We think we have it all figured out
Dreams of our beautiful unborn daughter
Makes it impossible to let you go
I want our fairy tale life
Just not sure how to make it work
Scared to give up what I have
For the chance to be with you
A lot can change in a year
What if too much changes
