Lying
Are you lying to my face
Or waiting til I turn my back to your disgrace
Your words cut deeper
than I can heal
As the life in me drains out
and IΒ can no longer feel
You are a disease with your words of hate
What did I do to you
thus to make
Your soul shadows the shades of sin
There is nothing but pure evil behind that grin
Someday when the truth is revealed
When stripped of the power that now you wield
The light of truth , the way the life
The tables will be turned
causing your strife
Every lie the axe does stroke
The chips may fall
like the songs to notes
And when the tree falls
the one ripe with knowdge
of good and evil
Will you be counted on to be one of his people ?
So you may hurt me
for now I can't lie
But only up to
the point
the moment that I die
So God sends me comfort
when he utters those chords
"Revenge is a matter of
property that belongs
to our Lord"
