Parable of Risk

I invent because I risk being turned down
I write because I risk not being published
I busk because I risk being ridiculed
I joke because I risk falling flat
I gamble because I risk my luck
I move because I risk not staying
I dream because I risk a nightmare
I imagine because I risk reality
I express because I risk being different
I fail because I risk success
I wish because I risk refusal

I am an addict because I risked excess.

Yet, I continue to control my own horizon
change the panorama and Velux® the vista.

Because I know, that when I have fear, I
am about to do something courageous.

Besides, faith is the opposite to fear and
lessons from one's past, wrap the present.

So, I must not open it, because if I do, then,
all will be exposed, and future will be at risk.
