Few could say they've had it all
That's exactly where I was before
But where I was, was in the world
And I'm not there anymore

The constant struggle to stay on top
Close to the edge, afraid of the drop
The moving and shaking that never would stop
I'm not there anymore

Counting rungs on the climb to success
Falling up would be my best guess
Lost in thought over the constant quest
I'm not there anymore

Lucky to some but unlucky in love
To gain it all, I ended with none
Fought too hard to hardly have won
I'm not there anymore

A lightning bolt hit me by surprise
Tore my heart, turned my sight
Away from the world to all that is right
Now I'm working for the Lord

Because I'm not there anymore...
