You beat me with your words,
You cut me with your lies
Haunt me with your hatred,
This my doom and demise

You suffocate me with your cynicism,
Crucify me on your critical cross
Make confetti of my ashes,
Singing sweet songs at my loss

But hear me now, this infinite evil
May last for eternities to come
But there are more of us claiming our places,
Showing our faces to the Sun

We shall no longer be slaves of the shadows,
Hiding as though we ought to be ashamed
But celebrate this absolute triumph:
A victory for which we are blamed

For we are the rainbows, roaring in the sky
We signify hope, hope steadfast
Reminding the world and ourselves
That no storm is here to last

We pray, one day That  humanity
whose heart is hard to the core
Will scrutinise souls based on their
Sexuality
no more…
