So pleasing to the eye
Are the colors of the sky
Bouncing off the clouds
In an incandescent light
Bound to earn their worth
In heaven and on earth
Without even a question as to why
We accept it and move on
Before the clouds are gone
And the sun comes out again for its reply
Then settle under shade
With sips of lemonade
And wave up to the clouds to say goodbye
