Again it is that night of fizzle crack bang
when fireworks are lite all over this land
with the smell of gun powder in the air
what about global warming, does no one care
the poor pets that endure this frightening night
retreat to dark corners, with no rest to their plight
this bitter cold November five
when they burnt a man alive
is celebrated by all and sundry
even on gods day, yes sunday
children holding sparklers clap with joy and glee
as parents set alight to this poor wretches effigy
so remember, remember the fifth of November
please let us fast forward to Christ in December.
