A Marvelous Collision
I used to think I was a star
Sitting all alone in the universe
Burning through the fuel in my reservoir
Granting wishes upon those who gazed
But now it has become clearer
That I am more of a comet
Nary a clue to my destiny
Just careening recklessly through space
Leaving a trail of frigidity behind
Yet always,
Dreaming about that
marvelous
collision
