keeps you from sleep,
the triple barred door
because you want to keep more,
the sidelong looks
because in your mind
they're all ****** crooks,

the ones who have not.

the ones who have nothing
and yet bring to the table
all that they need.

nest eggs
make great omelettes
but
sometimes
salad is nice.
