The academic exercise feelings
rooted in they want to play lets see
when truths call in early doors
he saw the vanity of ignorance in bloom
not knowing me but knowing you
I could find no organic seeds
and painting roses by number bores me
if perchance an artisan calls
I have seen masterpieces and would know
copies in oil do not hang well
Mona Lisa invokes emotion anytime you look
that portrait did not live up
it pleases indifference on any given
time of day
