Cognitive Conflict
Poems
May 2022
Attention Deficit
My brain is the purgatory of thought
Always busy jumping fences
I have to read past sentences
To know what I'm talking about
Things just happen without mercy
Nonsense nothings no consensus
Reminding me I can't focus
Mind in constant adhocracy
Past reminders of things to do
Taped on and forgotten on walls
After one too many night falls
They're no longer anything new
Everything just scatters aside
Now where did I just put my keys
My things are like a swarm of bees
I need to take a step outside
Excuse me what was your name again ?
