There is no
Stare decisis
Unfortunately that’s how
It slices
The Supreme Court
Is in a crisis
Because they’ve
Rolled the dices

The precedents
That have been set
Are too easy
For them to forget
And don’t seem
To be binding yet
Much to our regret
We have a right to be upset

The Supreme Court
Has become
A political wing
Of an ugly
Conservative thing
Along with
The damage
It can bring

Within the realm
Of settled law
Nothing will
Stand up anymore
The way it
Once did before
And that we can
Bet on for sure
