The Greed Breed

The fairytale of New York
was just a Christmas song

but the American dream is
to many, a desired reality.

Based on greed, it epitomises
what it is they value most.

If this ambition was confined
to their own country, then fine,

let them have their cake and
eat it, but alas they want more.

More off other nations plates
but this will be their downfall,

they have rung the bell, but
Pavlov’s dog is now a bear.
