the lapping of the flames
that kissed away an ember
was seperated, possibly suffocated,
by the bearing winds and the
ever-controlling time
constant of the universe.
i believe that fire to grow
each their own,
until the hearty coal
breathes the same breath
of the same room where
they begin to join again.

the warmth of appreciation
of same burning force
felt ***** and branding
like only one other ever did.
