You become visitors to more and more cemeteriesΒ Β
(as if you didn't already have enough insecurities)
the older you get.

We're wayfarers and yet
sometimes the way isn't fair
sometimes we seem to get
more than our share of grief.

In the end
even the odd ones
the old sod ones
and the loved ones
will be waiting
for us

and we'll meet up again
to do it all over again.
