Now we see the modern clef
We already know,
where the D and G lines go
Other lines E B and F

Continue higher A - G
After the top F is a G
on top of the stave
Followed by an A
on the first ledger line
Going lower,
is a dangling D
Then the middle C

Mentioned earlier,
in the music spree
Going in any lower,
is the bass clef
It was the high,
of the treble clef,
which took my breath
