I will hold the line
what ever it takes
even if loved ones
their hearts I must break

Oh this elaborate visage
hidden in a black veil
how wonderful I play
trying to never truly smile

It's a game plan, not made by me
for I am a creature of more dignity
they can tear my eyes out and make me blind
yet I still will be hidden, and will hold the line

The four winds come limping tainted
with accusation, there is no kindness
I implore them with this sign
that we all have to hold the line
