Nothing good
Can come from darkness
I have learned this the hardest way
I searched and grasped to see his face
But in the darkness he got away.

Nothing good
Can come from darkness
I didn't know where to look
From every angle I felt a sting
And my innocence was what he took

Nothing good
Can come from darkness
And now I've a price to pay
Maybe if he had seen my face
He would have walked the other way
