The sun is shining and the birds are returning
To a world
That was covered in snow
Spring is in the air
And soon plants will be
Peering out of the ground
Looking for the sun and warmth
That gives them life
Soon jackets will be removed
And boots become a thing of the past
As warmth envelops
And allows us to bask in the sun
After a long winter
People thrive in the sunshine
And embrace the world
