By the time I'd decided not to write this
I'd already written it and that's when it
got real,
from the pen until when the ink
dried on the page was but minutes,
but those minutes were lost in the
thoughts that I'd tossed aside,

and when I read this in my mother tongue
my first thought was to run and deny any
part in its doing,

but no,
I hold my hands up to it
I should never have written it,
should have bitten the bullet
and pulled it,
but here it is and
for what it's worth
you can keep it.
