In Silence lies the meaning
Be it a question we are seeking
Or an answer we are giving
It has more words than spoken words

The sound from the soundless
A balm for the affected
Peace and quiet it beckons
By itself it reckons

Verbal silence a discipline
Or nature from within
Quietitude of the mind
Lifetime battle in the hand

Stillness has reasoning
More than the points debating
Dancing mind takes a stance
To the noise produced from the voice

Silence has one tune
Have to sway to its croon
Sway within the notes
Kept to a bare minimum

Reflects a satisfied self
Not worried about heaven or hell
Gets respect from the rest
Self and rest removed the restless
