For Janet McAndrew

Your gentle spirit like Baby’s Breath
Is tarred and feathered to deep regrets
You can’t get past the pain your feeling yet
There’ll be better times

The heart must heal before it loves again
It’s hard to learn to trust a new found friend
But each step leads you closer to the end
There’ll be better times

Sometimes life can be so bittersweet
‘cause when your love-lies-bleeding at your feet
It’s easy to forget your heart still beats and
There’ll be better times
