In a memory my world stands still,
For thow are with me I shall not fear yet feel so alone , who could have known what time would tell,
I've tried to decipher the truth through a fogged cloud of confusion,
Yes I know tears are not a solution,
So lost to the realization I bow my head in contemplation and pray,
Oh Lord thank you for this day but why did my eyes have to see,
Please forgive the ignorance in me for asking , in my faith I know it's everlasting , what you have in store, I see it ever more in the eyes of those I love ,and I know they're up above standing in praise together as we gather, and more we should but don't than rather stand as one,
The bells of life have rung,
In your song I hear the laughter, remember when again and after, there shall be light behind this darkness ,I do believe as we should all....
This poem I wrote for a lost loved one and never had the opportunity to read it for them, in these troubled times it seems to be on my mind more than often.
