Mystery my dear
That's all you may see
Some see a challenging view
Some see a hurting soul
Who were you?
Who will you be?

Cause mystery you see
It's not at all what you think
You know the sources chained
To my knees for so many years?
There is a darkness within me
My body steers the distance
But my heart craves the love

My mystery you feel?
There is a lot more to hear
Some will be restless
But who will be virtuous?

Lean in and let me tell you a secret
My mystery my dear
Was built of righteous and fear.
