         Aquatic antics and lateral
         droplets on side windows,
         obscured our vision of the
                    countryside.
  
      Tyre agitated surface water
      exaggerated the cloudburst,
    causing a cautious distancing,
            by those in our wake.

  Opposing wipers met mid-screen,
to applaud, what must surely be the
     most enduring reign in history,
worthy of the Guinness records book!
