Dec 2021
They Can
bend me
to their will
but I’ll snap back. Not
allowing them to fill
my head with flack.
They can
sting me
with their tongues. But
they’ll die as the stingers
fall. Words to me
have no weight
at all!
They can
throw me
to the wolves. But I’ll dance
in the sun/warble in the forest.
I kick up my heels when
I’m the sorest.
