Poems
Dec 2021
On such a winter's day
Predation bothers me a lot
I wonder: Why do You permit it?
But it's just the way life is
Struggle to survive
The silence is eternal
We disappear forever
They got Charles Darwin
Trapped out there on Highway 5
Lived twice in California
Son born in Santa Rosa
Home birth, no doctor
Happy to be alive
Drank tea in San Francisco
1 day at the Zen Center
Exploratorium
Misty fog makes me thrive
Saw Springsteen once in Oakland
He danced with a Hungarian girl
I really only danced in high school
Alas I came to wive
As I said, predation bothers
California dreaming
Many driven to extinction
Can silences revive?
