Dec 2021
Mom dropped off two fawns,
My back yard their romper room,
Watched them for the day.

Nibbled grass and leaves,
Gave them cool water to drink,
Feared, would mom return?

Seemed happy but shy,
Cute, tiny and oh so frail,
They seemed unconcerned.

At night mom returned,
Rounded up her twin darlings,
All scampered away.
