Let me tell you about the night
When I met the devil.
You won’t believe it
I remember it like it was yesterday
It was a quarter past midnight
At the local neighborhood bar
Around my way
When Hennessy walked into my life
Oh, how I must admit it
She was like pure sweetness
A charm like diamonds in the light
When she danced past me
She wined like an
Evergreen trees in the wild.
The aroma of her sweet fragrance
Breeze whisking past
Ever so softly
Kissed the sadness off my lips.
Without delayed
I had a sense of connection
And gratitude for all her beauty
When she finally
Gazed into my eyes
I didn’t know she would be the woman
Who would change my life
The woman I would come
To know today as she Devil
The woman who would turned
My life into the hell that it was yesterday
She was like a smooth operator
Her words was golden
Her eyes was heaven
Her touch was fire
That did not burn
Her taste was eternal
Her beauty was forever
All so flawlessly made
I must admit it
She told
The most beautiful stories
I ever heard
So I thought.
Later on,
all turned out
To be an illusion
she was like
The great magician in Vegas
Full of surprises, marveling
At the magnitude of the sky
And how small in comparison
Suddenly self care appeared to be
I couldn’t tell the difference
Between my desires and my soul
But at that moment at the bar
I didn’t know none of that
All I knew was ,
from all the people that was at the bar
Drinking,
Eating,
Cursing,
Talking
Smiling ,
Laughing,
Caring for one another
She devil
She,
She was the one
Solely one

Smiling at me.
A smile as big as the moon

House of traps

Beware
