Surfacing
In the brief blink of a sneeze
underpasses of gloom could
be our permanent mausoleums.
So too can depression, the
overwhelming anxiety leaves
an indelible mark in its wake.
Irreparable damage after the
hurricane passed (while one was
in the foetal position, blinkered).
“ Light at the end of a tunnel
can be just as blinding as
the experience in darkness “
